He spent a minute or two staring at one table in particular, awash with sweaters of all colours. Picking out a sweater at random, he examined it with a frown before shoving it back into the pile; houndstooth just wasn’t in anymore. “Need help?” a familiar voice said as he suddenly became aware of a presence behind him, spinning around and nearly swallowing his gum in surprise. “Hizaki, don’t do that,” Teru whined, smoothing his hair back into place while Hizaki giggHIGH SCHOOL VERSAILLES CH.4

HIGH SCHOOL VERSAILLES CH.3Every day, Hizaki would sit at the picnic table under the maple tree. Every day, he would count the leaves that had fallen to the ground. Every day, he watched the boy pass by without a word. Hizaki never looked up when he passed, keeping his eyes fixed on the leaves that crunched under the boy’s sneakers. And the boy never stopped and never spoke, leaving Hizaki to wonder who he was. He hadn’t made many new friends since he moved here, and although he longed to talk to this boy, he never had the courage to look up from his leaves. He hadn’t told Hizaki where they were doing, which made him awfully antsy and almost too anxious to find out; he spent the entire car ride staring out the window, trying to guess where Kamijo had wanted to bring him. Tomorrow on Tainted Reality, Roger will honor Jasmine You with a very special tribute. Starting at 8pm Eastern, Roger will offer some words for the fallen bassist. He will then offer a moment of silence. At the end of that moment, Roger will play one song in Jasmine’s memory. Finally, at the conclusion of the song, Tainted Reality will fall silent for the remainder of the night, intentionally for the first time since the show began in mid-2005, while a visual display will ornate the webcam until 11pm Eastern.
On Friday, The Tainted Reality Talkshow will offer an open mic night to the fans. Starting at 9pm Eastern, fans are welcome to contact us via our Skype screen name TRrequest, and say some words for Jasmine. Fans are welcome to speak their mind about his death, how it has affected them, and it’s effect on not only the J-Rock world, but their own personal world as well.
